Frequently Asked Questions
What is Girls of Virtue?
Girls of Virtue is a nonprofit ministry that empowers high school and college-aged young women through mentorship, life skills, and faith-based support rooted in four key pillars: spiritual, mental, physical, and financial growth.
Who do you serve?
We primarily serve young women ages 14–24, particularly those attending dropout prevention schools or navigating hardship. However, our community and programs are expanding to include broader youth mentorship opportunities.
What are the Empowerment Centers?
Empowerment Centers are community-based hubs where young women can access mentorship, life skills workshops, meals, and vocational training in a safe, faith-rooted environment. These are central to our 12 Blocks Unite Us initiative.
What is the Executive Life Skills Program?
This is our most advanced offering, designed to walk young women through a three-phase, mentorship-based journey that leads to personal healing, professional skills, and sustainable income opportunities.
Is Girls of Virtue a religious ministry?
Yes, we are faith-rooted and grounded in Christian values. While we serve youth from all backgrounds, our mentorship and programming are based on biblical truth and the belief that identity and purpose are found in Christ.
How can I become a mentor or volunteer?
Visit our [Get Involved] page to complete a short form. We’ll follow up with a mentor orientation or volunteer opportunity that aligns with your strengths and availability.
How can I support financially?
Become a Virtue Partner with a one-time or monthly gift. Your donation funds workshops, meals, mentorship sessions, and materials that directly impact a young woman’s life.
Can I invite Girls of Virtue to speak at my event?
Absolutely. We welcome opportunities to share our mission. Head to the [Contact] page and fill out the request form under “Speaking & Events.”
